With the Tacx Training App you can train according to incline resistance, power or heart rate. The training options differ depending on the application: Tacx software and apps can be used to train for heart rate, incline or power, for example, and to ride known routes, competitions and races against multiple opponents. The possibility to run the trainer "stand-alone" gives you complete freedom of choice for your bike training. The Tacx Flux Smart exercise bike can be connected to your smartphone, tablet or computer via ANT+ or Bluetooth® Smart to use Tacx's own apps as well as apps from other manufacturers. * This requires Tacx Trainer Software 4 Advanced (included in the separately available Upgrade Smart package) and a license (free 7-day trial period). If this speed differs from the speed of the rear wheel, the virtual speed is shown in red on the display. With this concept, the energy delivered is converted into a specific speed to ensure a fair competition. To enable cyclists with motor brakes and cyclists with electric brakes to compete against each other in multiplayer mode*, Tacx has developed virtual speed. When riding in a virtual terrain or in a movie, it is possible to leave the area to which the brake is designed. The resistance unit of the Flux Trainer provides a characteristic riding experience by increasing or decreasing the resistance at the rear wheel. In addition, thanks to the electric brake, resistance can be set as it would be on the road or on an incline.
